Mums 'n Chums has officially launched!
Mums ‘n Chums certainly knows how to party! Just ask the adorable kids who hoola-hooped their way through our official ribbon cutting event on Wednesday, February 24th!
On hand to help us celebrate were Halton Hills Mayor Rick Bonnette, Town Councillor Clark Somerville and many friends and supporters. Mayor Bonnette made a speech commending Mums ‘n Chums for its social networking aspects for local parents and presented a lovely congratulatory plaque to commemorate the event.
After that, we had a comical few moments as the toddlers’ parents (myself included) tried hopelessly to arrange them for a photo with the ribbon. The Mayor and Councillor were such great sports, waiting patiently while we tried to get our two year olds to co-operate. In the end, we managed to get some great ribbon cutting pictures, which will be circulated in local papers over the coming week.
