Okay, I admit, it’s pathetic. Shamelessly featuring myself as the first ever Member of the Month. But in my defense, I had to! I needed some content for the blog before the launch of this site- and I had no other members yet!!! Hope you don’t mind learning a little about me!
My name is Sara and I’m the founder of MumsnChums.com. I’m also a busy mother of two. Well, that’s not technically true – I only have one child, an adorable son named Devan who turned two in August. My other “baby” is the Mums n Chums website, just born after a long, but rewarding labour.
Actually, bringing a website like this from jumbled thoughts to actual fruition is a lot like having a baby. Nervous anticipation, exhaustion and uncertainty in the beginning, excitement watching it slowly progress into something more tangible, and finally, utter amazement to be seeing it for the first time.
I’m so excited to see the site coming to life for the benefit of moms all over Halton Hills, Milton and surrounding areas. We needed our own site, one that would cater to our specific local needs and now we finally have one! Thanks for taking a moment to get to know me.
