Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny at Springridge Farm -An Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny, Puppet Show, Pedal Tractors, Wagon Ride & Farm Tour Access to The Fun Farmyard: Animal Barn, Giant Sandbox, Corn Trail, Straw Bale Jumping and Escarpment Lookout, Bunny Face Painting, Take home Bunny Ears, and A Rice Krispy Treat from the Easter Bunny. Acton Spring MOM TO MOM Sale!!! – The St. Alban’s Church in Acton will be hosting its’ Spring Mom to Mom sale on Saturday, April 17th. The doors will open at 9am till 11:30am. Great deals on gently used baby and children’s toys, clothes, furniture and accessories. $2 admission for adults, children free!
10th Annual Halton Eco Festival- Glen Abbey Rec Centre, 1415 Third Line, Oakville (south of Upper Middle Road). Environmental Expo with local sponsors and exhibitors to promote sustainable living. Avery’s Bravery Race- (click here to read Avery’s story!) A charity event for SickKids Hospital, celebrating 1 year old Avery Bond’s first year after open heart surgery. A 2km walk & 5 km run at Rockwood Conservation in Rockwood ON will take place on April 24, 2010 at 9:30am. Online registration can be done at www.runningroom.com. The walk is $15 (family rate of 5 people is $50) and the run is $25.00. The walk includes admission into the conservation, race kit and a lapel pin. The run includes admission into the conservation, race kit and a long-sleeve race shirt. All proceeds will benefit the SickKids cardiac unit and Bravery Bead program.

The 12th annual Spring Baby Time Show at the International Centre, Hall 1 (Mississauga). Shop from over 200 manufacturers, register with Babies R Us, talk to experts and more. Hours are: Friday April 30, 10am to 6pm, Saturday May 1, 10am to 6pm, Sunday May 2, 10am to 6pm. Adults tickets are $15 per person, children 12 and under are free. Special Grandparent Price – $10.
