On March 10, 2011 the world lost a precious little boy. Although only 3 years old, Zackie Hamilton touched many hearts in his short life and we ask that you please read about his remarkable story here
Along with the incredible staff of the paediatric ward of York Central Hospital, the Hamilton family is on a mission to raise $25,000 to create a room to honour Zackie’s memory. Elmo was his favourite character, and though he was non-verbal, he could hum Elmo’s song. The themed room at YCH would be a place of comfort for children in a place where no child should have to spend time. A respite, a room filled with happiness and love.
And we need your help to create it.
Along with our friends Jennifer Gilbert of Naturally Beautiful Photography , Alexandria Durrell of Clippo and of course Zackie’s mom Heather Hamilton tjzmommy , Mums ‘n Chums is co-hosting a fabulous Twitter party via SoConnected on Saturday, April 30 from 8 to 11 p.m. EST, and we hope you’ll be joining us!
